"My name is Elisabeth Thor and I am the founder and the 100 % owner of GPW. The people behind GPW are my family & me, where the business is run by me and my family are my closest advisors... & fans!  As stated on the Homepage, we are a small business, with a big heart, aiming to create jobs and make a difference, while we offer lovable fashion for the internationally minded people. 

I grew up in a suburb close to Copenhagen, in a very multicultural environment, and I’ve traveled to South Africa, Kenya, the USA, the Caribbean and several countries in Europe. I have always had friends from many countries, and I connect easily with people from other places. In these friendships I have experienced an open mind, curiosity and tolerance towards humans from different places in the World. I am truly passionate about these attitudes, that I find in myself and in the people I have met, and I have built GPW's values upon them.

I am essentially an artist at heart and have been painting for many years, with five exhibitions to my name. I hold a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, and I have been a solo entrepreneur for 6 years within that field, but I have put that on hold, since realizing that GPW was my true calling.
